Our Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing Cheetah Chase Safaris for your travel adventures in Tanzania. These Terms and Conditions govern your relationship with us and outline the rules, responsibilities, and rights of all parties. By booking with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. Please review this document carefully before finalizing your reservation.

 

  1. Reservation

All bookings with Cheetah Chase Safaris require a written travel agreement, which can be sent and signed electronically. This agreement applies to all participants listed in the reservation. The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring that all participants comply with the terms outlined in the agreement. Confirmation of your booking will be sent via email once the agreement is accepted.

 

  1. Payments
  • A deposit of 50% of the total tour price is required within 14 days of booking.
  • The remaining balance must be paid at least 65 days prior to the tour start date.
  • Bookings made within 65 days of the tour start date require full payment immediately.
  • Failure to complete payment on time may result in cancellation of your booking, and deposits may be non-refundable.

 

  1. Price and Service Adjustments

While we strive to maintain advertised prices and services, Cheetah Chase Safaris reserves the right to adjust prices if national park fees, taxes, or transportation costs change. Any adjustments will be communicated promptly, and changes to essential services may occur up to 14 days before the tour begins.

 

  1. Medical Conditions and Special Needs

Please inform us in writing at the time of booking of any medical conditions, allergies, or disabilities that may affect your participation. If we cannot safely accommodate specific needs, we reserve the right to decline or cancel the booking. Your safety and comfort are our priority.

 

  1. Documentation Accuracy

All travel documents, itineraries, and confirmations should be reviewed immediately upon receipt. Any errors or discrepancies must be reported to us within 14 days. Failure to notify us may result in additional costs, which will be the responsibility of the traveler, except where the error is on our part.

 

  1. Cancellation by Customer

All cancellations must be made in writing. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • 65–50 days before the tour: 50% of the tour price is non-refundable.
  • 50–0 days before the tour: 100% of the tour price is non-refundable.
  • Deposits for accommodations, flights, and special activities are non-refundable.
  • No-shows or partial use of services will not be refunded. Any saved services may be handled on a case-by-case basis.

 

  1. Cancellation by Cheetah Chase Safaris

We may cancel a tour under the following circumstances:

  • If a participant significantly disrupts the tour, no refund will be issued.
  • If the minimum required number of participants is not met 60 days before the tour, we will notify you and refund your deposit.

 

  1. Liability

Cheetah Chase Safaris ensures careful planning, reliable service delivery, and management of partners and suppliers. However:

  • We are not liable for third-party services such as airlines, ground transport, or local vendors.
  • Travelers are responsible for complying with local laws, obtaining valid travel documents, and securing comprehensive travel insurance.

 

  1. Adventure and Outdoor Risks

Safari and adventure tours involve natural and outdoor risks including:

  • Rough terrain, wildlife encounters, and variable weather conditions
  • Hiking, boating, or other adventure activities

Participants acknowledge and accept these risks and engage at their own responsibility. Adequate preparation, including first aid knowledge and travel medicine, is strongly advised.

 

  1. Participant Responsibilities

Travelers are expected to:

  • Follow tour guidelines and instructions
  • Prevent damage to property or equipment
  • Report any complaints promptly
  • Respect local communities and wildlife

Information regarding local partners and emergency contacts will be provided. Participants must report any discrepancies immediately.
